Founded in 1859, the not-for-profit American Dental Association is the nation’s largest dental association, representing more than 157,000 dentist members. Since then, the ADA has grown to become the leading source of oral health related information for dentists and their patients. The ADA is committed to its members and to the improvement of oral health for the public. The ADA’s vision is to be the recognized leader on oral health with its mission to help all members succeed.

The ADA works to advance the dental profession on the national, state and local level. Drs. Schiavoni, Weitz and Sept are each  members of the American Dental Association. They are also members of the state affiliated Idaho State Dental Association (ISDA).

Members of the ADA and ISDA voluntarily agree to abide by the ADA Code as a condition of membership in the Association. They recognize that continued public trust in the dental profession is based on the commitment of individual dentists to high ethical standards of conduct.

The ISDA Mission Statement: The Idaho State Dental Association is the professional association of dentists committed to the public’s oral health through professional advancement, science, and ethics: Leading a unified profession through initiatives of advocacy, education, and the development of standards.

You can find out more about the dental profession, dental care, current research and many other topics related to dentistry at the ADA and ISDA websites: www.ada.org and www.isda.org.

The dentists of Bearable Dentistry are committed to providing the best care possible and feel that their association in professional organizations are one of the ways they can invest in patient care.
