Give Kids A Smile

The American Dental Association began the Give Kids A Smile program in 2003 as a way for ADA members to join with others in the community to provide dental services to underserved children. The program initially began as a one-day event in February, but has since grown to local and national events year-round. Dentists and other team members volunteer their time and services to provide screenings, treatments and education to children throughout the United States. Each year approximately 450,000 children benefit from more than 1500 events, all because of the efforts of 40,000 or more annual volunteers.

The dentists and staff of Bearable Dentistry have participated in the Give Kids A Smile program since its inception. Children in our community are provided with dental care that they might otherwise not receive.

The American Dental Association reports that over 400,000 children have already received care in this year’s program by over 10,000 dentists nationwide.

The Idaho State Dental Association has teamed with the Idaho Dental Foundation and the ADA to provide this program to our local children. The dentists and staff at Bearable Dentistry are proud to be able to serve the community in this way.
